Return of the Times in Louis Vuitton’s Womens Spring-Summer 2022 Show
Low-waisted petticoats, asymmetrical tops and ornate evening blazers riddled the carpet for the Louis Vuitton Women’s Spring-Summer 2022 show. Models traipsed down the runway with some donning intricate headgear and crafty eyewear.
Oversize blazers with lace insets and slouchy silhouettes makes this one of Louis Vuitton’s more accessible collections to date. A plethora of sportswear pieces and accompanying accessories from the mind of creative director Nicolas Ghesquière are sure to appeal to the masses.

A desire for transmission. The Spring-Summer 2022 collection is an invitation to le grand bal of Time. Tonight, time is of no consequence. Yet time is everything. It dissolves functions and codes. It unites wardrobes. Day becomes night. The humble uniform becomes sumptuous.
From yesterday to today. The present moment. Clothing as the conduit. The experience of dressing, a voice that carries on. Leading the countdown and staying one step ahead. The transformative creative fusion of generations. A vibrant flow of style. The night will be all the more beautiful.
Archival items get revamped and elevated with elaborated accessories, lace camis are layered over bootcut denim and an ode to the 2000’s comes in the form of gladiator sandals.
