Prada Fall/Winter 2022 Womenswear reimagines the modern beauty
Prada’s Fall/Winter 2022 show exhibited a play on strong long lines courtesy of structured blazers and a-line work dresses juxtaposed against barely-there lace and ornate, garden-like embellishments.
It Girl model of the moment Kaia Gerber opened the show in a simple, barely-there white tank and an ethereal lace slip skirt. As the show progresses, we see the structure of traditional formal attire being simplified by a minimalistic pairing approach of paper-thin, delicate looking bottoms.

Pragmatic pieces are given new emphasis and significance, tailoring combined with the language of evening clothes. Combinations of the quotidian and precious disturb the aesthetic vernacular of each. They simultaneously confer significance and emphasize reality, a fusion.
The show was closed out by a buzzy actress and model, Euphoria star, Hunter Schafer. Prada strives to redefine what beauty means in the modern world, and the Fall/Winter 2022 collection is a nice peak into what’s to come from the established brand.
