Gucci Channels London in New Digital Campaign ‘Winter In The Park’
Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele captures the dreamy essence of Fall in the House’s newest digital campaign. The whimsical visionary drums up images of brisk early mornings, misty lakes, scattered leaves and the quiet solitude of enjoying a moment of respite. There’s a particularly ‘London’ feel lent to the story telling by way of dreary skies and speckled city elements. Gucci’s quirkiness shines through however with the legendary pairing of mixed prints and beloved accents.
A quartet of new handbags are featured including the GG Marmont, with 70’s-inspired hardware, the Jackie 1961—an updated version of the 1960’s hobo model, the Gucci Horsebit 1955—a stunning revision of an equestrian-inspired archival and the Dionysus Bag—a tour de force stemming from the Fall/Winter 2015 show offerings featuring mythology references in its double tiger-head closure.
Starring three visionaries; singer-songwriter Celeste, fashion darling Alexa Chung and actress Vanessa Kirby, the mystical backdrop, photographed by Angelo Pennetta, lends to the romanticism and solitude of a leisure winter walk in the park.
