Ferragamo’s perfect balancing act for Spring Summer 2023
The House of Ferragamo had plenty to celebrate, as the Spring Summer 2023 runway show marked the first venture for new Creative Director Maximilian Davis. The collection, shown at the palace of the former Archbishop’s Seminary of Milan, boasted an elevated, beachy, street-chic balance.
Impossibly chic draping, robust pops of color, and expertly executed layering were in abundance on the catwalk. Models donned everything from micro minis to full-on tailored suiting. There’s something for everyone among the chic yet attainable offerings.

“I want each piece to feel playful, but also desirable as an object,” says Davis. “To stand on its own.”
New handbag silhouettes debuted, including the Wanda bag, initially introduced in 1988 and modeled and named after Salvatore’s wife, in addition to a minimalistic prismic shoulder bag.
