Versace Seduces Audiences with Fall-Winter 2022 Collection
The seductive tones in Versace’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection run rampant through the form-fitting offerings, cinched waists, and corset dresses—all reminiscent of things we’d see the brand’s designer, Donatella Versace, step out in.
Energy seems to erupt throughout the collection, as signature Versace tweeds fray, unravel and drip in crystal and metal chains, while raw female force is seemingly caught and enhanced through tightly cinched waists.
Short hemlines with bursts of magenta, blue, and deep reds littered the runway. The collection is a showcase of confidence and a bold approach to dressing up. Gone is the athleuisure that dominated runways during COVID to make way for full-on evening glam moments.
The unmistakable Atelier Versace bustier is at the collection’s core. […] Silhouettes are seductive and fully empowered as the bustier is revealed under open suiting, or momentarily glimpsed beneath exaggerated overcoats.
Chunky boots and platform heels were donned by each model to compliment the looks. Patent leather, gold accessories, and multicolor baubles evoke a playful spin on designer jewelry. Nothing is taken too seriously, and there’s a sense of playfulness when viewing the collection.
