Elevated Classics for CHANEL’s 2023/24 Haute Couture Collection
Lean coats, structured little jackets, floral and fruit embroidered frocks and sheer elements ruled the runway at the CHANEL 2023/23 Haute Couture Collection held at the riverbanks of the Seline on July 3rd.
Iconic model and brand ambassador Caroline de Maigret opened the show in a triumphant manner that only the chic trendsetter could. Models traipsed along the catwalk with the majestic backdrop of the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower looming over the background.
This collection is “made of contrast and balance, is the portrait of a sensitive yet bold Parisienne.” Virginie Viard‘s own style is reminiscent in the many boyish offerings sprinkled with feminine touches down to what the Creative Director would wear in both her downtime and for more special occasions and formal affairs.

Online, fans of the House can follow alongside brand ambassador and longtime model Vanessa Paradis who takes an exclusive look at the collection’s offerings at the Haute Couture ateliers at 31, rue Cambon in Paris. A short film featuring Paradis was also filmed and can be viewed.
Celeb guests in attendance who sat front row included Camila Morrone, Riley Keough, Phoebe Tonkin, Margaret Qualley, Sofia Coppola, Kendrick Lamar, Lupita Nyong’o, William Chan, George Lucas, JR, Alma Jodorowsky and Liu Shishi.
