Chanel Makes a Triumphant Return for SS25
Chanel presented its SS25 show in grand form with a return to the Nave of the Grand Palais in Paris and pulled out all the stops.
As Major Patron of the Grand Palais, CHANEL is making its comeback to this iconic Parisian building, a centre for cultural excellence and the favoured setting for the House’s shows over the past two decades.
Amongst celebrity guests such as Phoebe Tonkin, Jennie, Rebecca Armstrong, Ann Hsu, Lupita Nyong’o, Margaret Qualley and Naomi Campbell. Spectators saw a well-rounded collection boasting peter pan collars, feathers, platform shoe offerings and of course plenty of tweed.
An ode to delicacy and transparency, beneath the light streaming through the Nave’s great glass roof.
Actress Riley Keough, a longtime friend and ambassador of the brand, closed the show by singing a special rendition of Prince’s When Dove’s Cry set high upon an ethereal swing set risen high above the adoring crowd. For the performance, Keough wore a SS25 black tweed jumpsuit (modeled on the runway by Mona Tougaard).
