CHANEL Cruise 2024/25
Bold and invigorating, the show brought forth new hues, silhouettes and little hints of the sea- including seashells, beading and netting details that riddled the collection. Cool tees, loose tweed offerings and punched up apparel with new press studding was plentiful in a sea of electric blues, magenta and seafoam green. “The sun, architecture, music and dance: Marseille also has a very strong sense of freedom. I was inspired by the codes of lifestyle, of everyday life and by all the things that invite movement. The sea and the wind made me want to play with wetsuits,” explains Virginie Viard.
Bermuda running shorts, flouncy skirts and black and white petticoats lended an athletic feel with their movement and fabrication. Swimwear including bloomers and briefs was also sprinkled throughout the presentation.
VIP celeb front row attendees and friends of the house included the likes of Lily-Rose Depp, Phoebe Tonkin, Sadie Sink, Marion Cotillard and more.
