Celine enlists teen angst in the Fall 2021 Menswear Collection
Set to the backdrop of the scaling Chateau de Chambord, the Celine Fall 2021 menswear collection boasts outcast rebellion, knighthood and a hint of punk (in the form of models donning various facial piercings and thick metal chain necklaces). Checkered racetrack patterns pop up on the soles of shoes, allover on a lightweight jacket and littered across the neckline of a jumper.
Hedi Slimane, director and stylist, entrusted seven artists in a group show to participate in the “Teen Knight Poem” Editions. In order of appearance, the collaborations include offerings from; Thomas Sauter, Hendrik Hegray, Dan Wilson, Gene Beery, Olivia Chapman, Althea James and Cambria Guevera.
