Dysfunctional Bauhaus for Celine SS23
With music backed by GUSTAF (titled “Design”), the 2022 collection marks the very special 20th anniversary of Hedi Slimane’s first Dior Homme show at the Palais de Tokyo (Europe’s largest center for creation) in 2002.
Various art accompanying the show hails from David Weiss, Alyss Estay, and Renata Petersen. The show’s full soundtrack is an original score commissioned and co-produced by Hedi Slimane for CELINE.
High embellishment and ultra shine ruled the catwalk. Think Baz Luhrmann meets 80’s synth rock. The collection is befitting of the rocker in all of us with its bevy of chain-heavy accents, black leather and fine suiting.
Standout moments include an all-leather cherry red set and a disco-friendly coat with tinsel accents.
Celeb attendees included Lisa from Blackpink, V from BTS, Diana Silvers, Eddie Redmayne, and more from Young Hollywood.
