Straightforward Classics for Bottega Veneta Summer 2023
The story of wearer and maker is explored in Bottega Veneta’s Spring Summer collection. Matthieu Blazy, the creative director, and Gaetano Pesce, the set designer, worked closely together to capture and show both diversity and inclusion.
Leather, fur, denim and clean tailoring all held a piece in the offerings. The rich separates are layered in such a way that luxury is immediately exuded. By the end of the show, the clothes transition from crisp and sharp to more playful (via color) and pattern.

“This space is a tribute to diversity. It is about the human being; we are all different. People who say we are all the same – fuck them! We are all different and this is our defining quality – otherwise, we are just a copy. We are all originals and this is one of the themes of my design.” – Gaetano Pesce
Super model Kate Moss walked the show, and VIP front row attendees included Erykah Badu, Kirsten Dunst, and Cicciolina.
