An Ode to Shape for LOEWE SS24
LOEWE presented their SS24 collection to absolute rave reviews. A play upon shape and textures, the selects offered a titillating juxtaposition of the scope of clothing, oftentimes playing with size and literal practicality.
Reducing fashion to the silhouette, focusing on the outline, playing with the sections, altering the proportions. Looking from afar, and then looking close, zooming in on the details.
Standout moments include gigantic cable knit cardigans accentrd by doorknob-size golden hardware, outstandingly high-rise trousers offered in chocolate brown and rich navy, a pair of loose shorts with an oversize pin waist detail and allover embellished evening tanks sparkling in hues of lush greens and dreamy creams.
The front row was a who’s who of tastemakers, celebs and industry heavy-hitters including brand ambassador and actress Taylor Russell, actress Shailene Woodley, Anna Wintour, singer Troye Sivan, model Emily Ratajkowski, director Luca Guadagnino and more.
