Vibrant Larger Than Life Offerings for LOEWE Fall Winter ’21 Women’s Runway Collection
Jonathan Anderson’s latest offering radiates pure joy in its colorful, abstract compositions that signifies new unchartered grounds for LOEWE. The act of dressing up is a bit tongue-in-cheek throughout the collection with a light-hearted spin on the fantasy and whimsicalness of fashion.
Playful, oversized embellishments (think larger than life buckles, humongous tassels) were abundant throughout the collection. It’s a riveting take on both luxury and approachability that is finely executed.
Geometric shaping takes center stage both in patterns and silhouettes. The big circles and stripes feel reminiscent of the 60’s and further explode with the bright, eye-catching color palette.
Quilted fabrics are presented from intricately draped asymmetrical dress and skirt offerings to billowing outwear. Other appliqués include cut outs, 3-D patterns and leather body pieces.
Punched up accessories boast color blocking and the handbag offerings finds new shapes and color ways such as the freshly debuted Goya bag, the 1975 launched Amazona bag and an XL Flamenco clutch. This collections leaves audiences salivating for more—our hedonism is switched on.
