Modern Japanese Culture Celebrated in LOEWE’s FW22 Men’s Campaign

Starring the iconic Takeshi Kitano and more, LOEWE enlists renowned Japanese personalities to showcase the brand’s latest FW22 men’s offerings. From cozy knits to unexpected (but welcome!) blasts of color, the collection captures the infectious energy of the city and its roots in cutting-edge fashion.

Lensed by Ryu Ika, other stars of the campaign include Nijiro Murakami, Tokio Emoto, Cota Mori, Shu Sasaki from PERIMETRON, and London-based model DJs Jyrrel and Reialice.

Assembling at a nightclub in Tokyo, the eclectic characters are captured in a euphoric, dream-like reality by Mongolian photographer Ryu Ika. With an emphasis on tactility, Ika’s striking portraits reflect her distinct aesthetic, zeroing in on a boldly raw sense of reality.

In addition the the runway and print campaign pop-ups at GR8, LOEWE Omotesando, and Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building. Ika’s portraits will be blown up into a larger-than-life scale with key imagery displayed via iPhones and iPads.
