With the ultimate goal of paying homage to classics and celebrating reinvention, Gucci and Balenciaga have come together for an eye-catching presentation of their mixed designs—The Hacker Project.

Bags are represented in the collection with Balenciaga’s Hourglass and the City are paired with the Gucci canvas: Flora and GG pattern.  Beloved Gucci namesakes such as the Jackie 1961/Dionysus, GG Marmont and Horsebit 1955) featuring the Balenciaga diagonal logo.

The idea came about in an extremely organic way, as a direct result of Alessandro Michele’s impassioned reaction to Demna Gvasalia’s first show for Balenciaga, which he attended and the following ones.

Footwear including three new trainers and two new pumps are also revealed. Accessories include fashion jewelry, shawls and ties. Ready-to-wear offerings boast a parka, “pantashoe”, skirts and more.

The Hacker Project is now available in Gucci stores worldwide.
