Worldly Landscapes Get the Spotlight in De Beers’ New High Jewelry Collection
London jeweler De Beers’ ‘Reflections of Nature’ collection debuts during Couture Fashion Week on January 25th. Five distinct regions of the world are called out in this brilliant colored troupe.
Okavango Grace

Okavango Grace—Islands, lush vegetation and watercolored floodplains from the north-west Botswana.
Motlatse Marvel

Motlatse Marvel—Subtropic florals from the sunny Motlase Canyon region of South Africa.
Namib Wonder

Namib Wonder—Western Namibia’s oldest desert, distinct for its red sands and intense, record-breaking temperatures.
Landers Radiance

Landers Radiance—Underwater treasures based off South Africa’s Landers Reef, overflowing with multicolor diamonds.
Ellesmere Treasure

Ellesmere Treasure—The stark wilderness of Ellesmere Island reflected in a kaleidoscope motif.
Each story is interwoven and connected via the soft palette and juxtaposition of rough and polished designs.
De Beers makes sure to classify their diamonds as sustainable and ethically sourced, “As most diamonds are sourced from De Beers mines in Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Canada, not only does the brand know the provenance of its diamonds but can ensure they have had a positive impact along their incredible journey.”
