Tweed Revisualized for CHANEL 2023/24 Métiers d’art
This week, the enchanting setting of Thomas Street in North Manchester played host to the CHANEL 2023/24 Métiers d’art show.
Virginie Viard skillfully traversed various aesthetics, from the prim and proper to understated grunge, introducing an unexpected pop of Navajo Indian pattern work, and finally, embracing ski-inspired elements.
Renowned for their expansive collections featuring both multi-layered ensembles and standout one-pieces, this collection seamlessly aligns with the brand’s signature multilayer complexity, leaving hearts aflutter in its wake.
As anticipated, tweed took center stage on the runway, adorning frocks, pill jackets, mini skirts, and more, each showcasing creative interpretations of this timeless fabric.
To cap off the night, a plethora of VIPs, celebrities, and friends of the house graced the event, bringing their unique charm to an evening dedicated to the iconic CHANEL brand. Among the distinguished guests were Kristen Stewart, Lucy Boynton, Hugh Grant, Tilda Swinton, Jenna Coleman, and Alexa Chung.
