Fresh Silhouettes for Gucci Men’s Fall Winter 2024
Under direction of Sabato De Sarno, Gucci debuted their Gucci FW24 collection and it’s a wildly successful showing. Gucci is known to pull out all the stops for their runway presentations with innovative, fresh takes on classic silhouettes that perfectly blend timeless chic ensembles with daring, bold modern expressions.
It’s a story of joy of life, of passion, of humanity, of people, of real life, of irreverent glamour, of provocation, of confidence, of simplicity, of immediate feelings and emotions, of a specific type of art, of words – words in artworks, words in pictures, words in spaces, just words.
The collection’s narrative is woven from confidence and simplicity, capturing the raw emotion of life in its purest sartorial form.
The brand declares that the collection “is manifest and not taboo although it might look like it should be” such as taking the once taboo fashion ”risk” of men donning pink- offered in a stunning double breasted two piece suit.
The collection is dominated by the color red, punching up accessories (hefty, sure to be coveted leather bags), apparel and even footwear.
The house invited a who’s who of talent and industry heavy hitters to sit front row including the likes of Dimitris Kad, Sharl, Callum Mullin, Diego Barrueco, Elliot Page, IU, Jay Park, and Jes Tom who sat front row and enjoyed the spectacle backed by music dj’ed by Acadamy Award winner Mark Ronson.
