CHANEL Fall-Winter 2024/25 Haute Couture
This particular Haute Couture collection pays tribute to Paris’ Palais Garnier. French director Christophe Honoré worked painstakingly at providing the right kind of ambiance to help complement the 46 look runway show.
Quite the fanciful offerings spring forth in the voluminous taffeta gowns and skirts, embellished yokes and a bevy of layered tweed petticoats. Audiences will see a return to classic silhouettes and fashioning remnant of CHANEL’s longstanding namesake.
Feathers, tassels, cabochons and embroidered flowers, precious braids, lacquered jersey, supple tweeds, silky velvet, illusion tulle, taffeta and duchesse satin: opulent materials that delicately rustle. The volumes are diaphanous, the sleeves puffed, and the flounces pleated.
In the wake of former creative director Virginie Viard’s departure, many brand ambassadors and friends of the house showed their unwavering support and sat front row including Keira Knightley, Naomi Campbell, Vanessa Paradis, Michelle Williams, Caroline De Maigret, Camila Morrone, Zoey Deutch, Greta Gerwig, Sadie Sink and more.
