Universal Passport—Burberry Spring/Summer Menswear Presentation

The Burberry Spring/Summer menswear collection debuted with a titular showcasing of strength, movement and fluidity. The runway was littered with straps, pockets, cargo pants and unexpected pockets. Male models walked at the beginning of the show “wearing” swimsuit-clads.

>
I wanted the collection to capture that free spirit of youth and its honest and daring attitude, that sense of experimentation and fluidity. There is a strong feeling of unity but also of individuality – encouraging and uplifting each other to express ourselves freely. It’s a very raw energy that’s infectious, exciting and full of life. Like an awakening.
— Riccardo Tisci, Burberry Chief Creative Officer

The house steered a bit from their usual plaid-heavy as models donned minimalistic genderless silhouettes. Backed by a trance-like soundtrack from Shpongle, models walked out in nature at the stunning Millennium Mills in Royal Victoria Docks, East London.

Burberry’s curveball of simplistic graphics and bold craftsmanship are still presented in a clean, elevated look familiar to the brand.
