Aesop Introduces Othertopias—A gender neutral and sophisticated trio of scents

This July, Aesop will be drawing from three liminal places that test our senses in their new scent collection—Othertopias. The trio of scents, created by frequent fragrance partner Barnabé Fillion are titled Miraceti, Karst and Erémia.

Miraceti or ‘The Boat’

The first of the trio, Miraceti Eau de Parfum mirrors the calm isolation and the turbulence of the sea. The fragrance is an ode to seafarers and comes across as spicy, woody and nuanced.

Select Ingredients: Labdanum, Incense, Seaweed, Ambrette and Styrax

Karst or ‘The Shore’

The second of the trio, Karst Eau de Parfum underscores nature’s best architect—water, that shapes the scene in an occurring cycle. Fresh, cool aromatics comes to mind while scents of the sea and a fore-coming storm are evoked.

Select Ingredients: Fresh spices, Cumin and Sandalwood

Erémia or ‘The Wasteland’

The third of the trio, Erémia Eau de Parfum is a vibrant, rejuvenating scent reminiscent of nature reclaiming the urban wasteland. This citrusy scent features naturalistic floral and earthy undertones on top of a dose of muskiness, and notes of wet concrete.

Select Ingredients: Galbanum, Iris, and Yuzu.

The Othertopias collection will be available at Aesop signature stores, and online on Aesop’s official store on Lazada.
